Vulnerable Mainstream .NET

Posted under Uncategorized

As .Net coding moves into the mainstream, software developers are learning that the simplicity and streamlined development of .Net is coupled with unprecedented code vulnerability.

Since .NET code is delivered as generic high level language (MSIL), code can easily be converted back to any standard programming language using freely available decompilers. And, once source code is available to prying eyes, it is vulnerable to reverse engineering, cracking, data tampering, unauthorized copying and reuse, and malicious code injection.

The bottom line - when you deliver a .Net application, not only is your IP at risk, so is your application revenue stream
